Adolph Busemann : ウィキペディア英語版 | Adolph Busemann Adolph Busemann (born 20 April 1901 in Lübeck, Germany, died 1986 in Boulder, Colorado)〔(Busemann Advanced Concepts Laboratory ), About Us › Adolf J. Busemann.〕 was a German professor of aerodynamics at the University of Göttingen. He was first to propose the swept wing (what Germans called ''Pfeilflügel'', or "arrow wing") at a 1935 conference on aerodynamics.〔Christopher, John. ''The Race for Hitler's X-Planes'' (The Mill, Gloucestershire: History Press, 2013), p.48.〕 He later headed the German aircraft research center at Völkenrode, Braunschweig.
